Trends change over time, we all know this, but normal trend times doesn’t apply to the internet. It moves much quicker so you need to stay on top of what happening. If you’ve had the same designs and are relying on the same information you did a couple years ago then you’re probably getting left in the dust. A couple things that stood out to me are drop shadows in graphics are out and the move toward simple navigation is in.
