It’s been over a week now since the big Skype outage. Many home and small businesses were caught without a reliable phone or long distance service. Were you? Hope not. Everything breaks down. Even your local phone service can be out of order. However, in my experience, that is an awfully rare occurrence.
I like VOIP mostly because of cost saving. You really can’t beat $30/year for unlimited long distance. But we’re not canceling our land line anytime soon. On the other hand, the phone is not a crucial part in our business. Do you use the phone a lot in your business? Do you feel you can rely 100% on internet phones?
