Maybe not such a great idea after all. I had been thinking of using Instant Video Generator as the player for my screencasts because I didn’t want to bog down my own server’s bandwidth. But last weekend I just noticed something – a note in the Instant Video Generator backend about bandwidth limits which frankly is very low. Even my smallest web hosting package has more bandwidth than. Hmm…. I probably have been blind all this while but could’ve sworn I haven’t seen it there before.
In many ways this saddens me because it could be such a great tool both as an affiliate and a content publisher. Using it just for advertorial type videos and talking heads seem to be a waste of a great service.
