Productivity Tip: Program Your Bio and Signatures Into A Macro

Many web entrepreneurs I know have a simple notepad or text file where they save a few versions of their bio for interviews, articles or guest blog posts. Another for forum and email signatures and so on. That is very smart. I do too!

Problem is, looking them up can be such a pain. Sure I know where they are filed but have you looked at how many files or folders you have on your computer? I ton I bet. Sometimes when you’re distracted, a file which you can normally find with your eyes closed will seem to disappear.

So quit hunting. I did. I replaced the text files with Direct Access – a macro program. All I need to do is type a keyword and the program will automatically type the bio for me. If you’d like to learn more about the program, you can read my review.
