I know that should go without saying but a smart podcaster should always:
- Put up a general disclamer and never leave out the part about your liability when it comes to views, opinions or guests if you interview people.
- Play only legal music – known as podsafe. These are usually independent labels (or no label 🙂 ). There are many very talented artists out there who’d be happy to have you play their music and give them exposure. I’ve found a few this week itself and I tell you, some of these guys and gals are awesome! One of the groups who’s fast becoming my favorite is Simpatico you gotta check them out especially if you’re into Jazz
