Oh my I just can’t stop laughing over this one. First of all, it’s not my toilet but this guy’s. He wired his toilet to tweet every time it flushes. He’s got over 500 followers last I checked too now that’s funny. You can see his ahem- the toilet’s tweets here.
Now while this is a fun/entertaining, good for a few laughs project. It actually makes me think. What else can be hooked to to Twitter that can be beneficial as well as not too spammy?
I know you can post Tweets each time you send an email to your mailing list on Aweber though it’s not something I personally use a lot. I like to keep my emails exclusive as a thank you for subscribers. Maybe I’m taking the wrong approach.
I also found a really cool plugin lately that allows your commenters to tweet their comments which is beneficial for them and for you since it includes a link back to your blog. Sadly, I have not managed to successfully install it on this site – it seems to conflict with WPRemix and I haven’t had a chance to dive deeper into the causes.
