A few months ago, I came across Rollyo, signed up for it and didn’t quite feel it could be useful at that time. Like most things, I’ll keep these tools in view in my Del.icio.us inbox until I have time or find a ‘connection’ how to apply it. While I can’t say I have found the right connection yet, but decided to try create two ‘niched search engines’ one for the WAHM market which I’m heavily involved with. Try it.

But… what does it do? It simply searches only the websites I have set it to search. Created through Rollyo which is a free service, you can create one yourself. There are many people creating their very own niche searches from Food and Drink to Nutritional, Parenting to DIY. Can it benefit your website? Theoretically, if you get it distributed why not? Add a few big name websites into the mix as well as your own you could have people using it and finding your content regularly. Whether in practical it works well or not. I don’t know… yet 🙂
