Smart! Leveraging The New Facebook Fan Page

Do you manage a Facebook Fan Page? Have you made the switch to the new page design yet? I have to admit I am hesitant. One of the biggest reasons is the photo strip on the top of the page.

While this is not a problem for a personal profile, photos are not something I ever think of putting on a Fan Page so it will take some brainstorming.

Then, Denise O’Berry showed off her fan page with these interesting images.

    I’ve seen some amazing and creative ideas using the photo strip at the top of people’s facebook business pages. A couple of things to note, business or fan page photos are shown in random order, so they don’t stay in the same place like they do on personal profiles. The ideal dimensions for Facebook photos to make sure the 97px by 68px thumbnail size shows properly in the photo strip is 970px by 680px.
