One of the most powerful things about Web 2.0 is the power of social networks. The sharing, the community, the everyone gets a chance to vote, be heard and benefit aspect.
Both of these things have been kinda operating separately. There have been efforts but John Reese has taken this to a higher scale. His new BlogRush (free) service is really a mashup of these two concepts. Social network + affiliate program. At least in my eyes it is at this very early hour and terribly limited experience with it.
