How Not To Get Caught With Your Pants Down

PayPal has made it so easy for anyone to start selling online that many don’t even think twice about opening a merchant account. In the beginning, that’s OK. But as your business grows, you may find yourself in desperate need for one.

Usually, someone finds themselves in this situation because PayPal has suspended or locked their account. We had such a scare recently. Good news, it was not a lock down, just a limitation. But even if it was more serious, we had a merchant account so we could still take payments and get paid.

In my opinion, if you are making sales regularly, you should start thinking about that merchant account… very soon, if not today. Don’t wait till something happens to your PayPal account. It will be too late then since it can take time to get your merchant account up and running.

But not just any merchant account.

Did you know some companies will start to put a red flag and suspend your account if you process too many payments? It is true. But the folks at iPowerPay are familiar with how business online, in particular product launches and Internet Marketing works so they won’t jump the gun and give you a heart attack.

Also, they don’t try to lock you in. They allow you to leave their service any time. That’s awesome! When we signed up for our first merchant account, we had to sign a 3 year agreement. While they didn’t say we could use someone else, but we would still be stuck paying their monthly fee for 3 years.

Finally, setup is free – we paid for our first account. All that added together, makes a good package. Interested to learn more? Go directly to iPowerPay’s web site.
