Later, as they grew in popularity, many graduated into commercial ware but there’s nothing wrong with the older versions. In fact, depending on the new features and your needs, some of the older versions are preferred.
Besides, not all of us are operating on the latest, greatest, newest versions all the time. Some of us still use older operating systems – me included.
