Free & Lighter Alternatives To Adobe PDF Reader

For the longest time, I’ve always had Adobe PDF reader installed on my computers. Every new computer I purchased I’d get it installed. Then the software became bigger and bigger and bigger till I’ve had enough. Really, I don’t draw, annotate and do all kinds of stuff on my PDF’s. I just read them. That’s why I ditched them and have never looked back since. If you’d like to do the same, you might want to check these out.

Foxit Reader – this is what I currently use.

Xpdf – open source! My favorite term.

JPedal – Java required.

Sumatra PDF – simple, basic open and read.
