Customer Service Software – Hosted And Off Your Mind

Been looking into several customer service software options lately so I can reduce incoming emails – drastically needed. Of course, I could hire an assistant but who says you can’t make your customer service system more efficient? The more efficient your assistants are the less you pay (assuming you’re paying by the hour). Well, I came accross HostedSupport and found their solution quite attractive.

For a monthly fee, you get the customer support software that’s knowledge base centered (I know, this doesn’t appeal to everyone). Customers can lookup solutions to their concerns (like FAQ) and if they cannot find something suitable, will be given the opportunity to submit a support ticket. Ok so this is nothing new. But lately, hosted software is starting to appeal to me more and more. Why? Well… I spent over two years installing, intergrating, updating and maintaining scripts and software for people and myself. Maybe it’s just burnout but it’s a lot of work going on in the background that most people never see or anticipate – by the way if you have an IT guy (or gal 😉 ) or programmer in your fold tell them you appreciate them. Back to the issue. It’s getting really tiring maintaining software.

HostedSupport starts at $49.95 a month and seriously… it’s impossible to do it yourself or even hire someone to do it for $50. Think about it. How much is an hour’s of your time worth? No matter what, you’ll pay someone, something in some way, shape or form.

More on HostedSupport, they also have a new eBay version and this is the most interesting part of all their services. The eBay version is intergrated with eBay’s ‘ask seller a question’ form. They have a free lite intro version and a higher option for only $9.95 a month. Overall, a hosted customer service software worth checking out – Hosted Support.
