A few people who have graciously taken time to comment on this blog last week have asked me which plugin I used to automatically send commentators a quick thank you note upon leaving their comment. It’s not a secret by any means and no, you don’t have to pay me to tell ya 😉 The plugin is Comment Relish. Been using it oh about a year, maybe a little bit longer.
Since using it, I can say it has opened opportunities to get more personal with readers and site visitors. Why? Because some really do take the time to reply to me and we strike up a conversation that way. Even if we don’t strike up a long conversation, it’s like adding one more thread towards building a stronger relationship with that person. Not everyone responds of course, but that’s ok.
Just remember to add this to your list of things to update every so often. Nothing worse than an outdated message. Yes, been guilty of that myself.
