Do You Scan Your Downloads?
I know you can set your Antivirus to automatically scan every download. This is how it’s set up for me too. Yet, because of the huge amount of stuff I download every single day, from plugins, themes, client stuff, reports, audios etc I tend to be a little paranoid and scan them again. In particular, just before opening ZIP files.
I’m talking about downloads that are voluntarily downloaded – not email attachments. What about you?

I’m with you Lynette – I’m a safety girl when it comes to scanning downloads. I’d rather take a little extra time up front to scan the download than take a LOT of extra time later to clean it up!
Happy New Year!

Hey Stephanie,
Happy new year to you too!
That is true. Clean up is such a PITB
I agree! It’s much better to be safe than sorry! The little bit of extra time it takes to check it out is much better than the huge amount of time it will take to clean it up. Our computers are the main part of our businesses and every minute, day, week, etc. that our computers are “out of commission” is time away from our success journey!
LOL Yvette, you make me smile. That sounds like something I’d say to myself.
