If you don’t know what DuckDuckGo is, it is a search engine. I’ve ditched Google as my default search and switched to DuckDuckGo. Mostly due to privacy concerns but that’s another story for another day.
Today, while looking for a simple timer to use, I found they have a timer built right in.
I decided to give it a go. Half way through, I was worried I won’t be notified when the timer counts down to 0 but surprise, they thought of that too. It actually does notify me with a visual alert and audio alert.

This may not be cutting edge stuff but when you need something simple real quick this is it. They also have a stopwatch.
Oh and… it works on the phone. The only thing is, the audio alert didn’t come up for me. Not sure if it’s because of a setting on my phone I forgot or what. But hey this can be handy when you are in a meeting or presentation.
P/S: Google also does the same thing when you search for “timer” but it doesn’t have a stopwatch.
