Quickly Take Inventory Of Your Domains
As some of you know, I’m in Alice Seba’s Internet Marketing Spring Cleaning coaching program for the next 6 weeks. Got to work immediately after receiving the assignment. Almost immediately, I had a small problem. You see, I have to make an inventory of all the domains I have. Whoa! Don’t know about you but this is one inventory I cannot do manually. Yes, my list is fairly large. It’s probably much smaller than yours but still large enough.
Thankfully, Internet Based Moms Hosting and GoDaddy had quick and easy ways for me to download a list of my domains, with all the related information attached to each domain. If you need to take inventory of your domains and use one of the above domain registrars, here’s a quick tutorial how to download your list of domains.
- Log into your account, and go to the domain control center.
- On the left side, you’ll see a list of folders e.g. All My Domains, Domain Forwarding etc. click on Exportable Lists.
- If you’ve never done this, as I haven’t, you’ll need to create a list. On the top right side of the list, you’ll see a Add New Export button. Click on it.
- You’ll find a page with lots’ of check boxes. Select CSV – you can use XML if you know what you’re doing. Name your list and check all the details you want to be included in the download file.
- Click OK and they will build your list. It will take a few minutes and you’ll receive an email when done.
