Make your business sound big

Have you ever thought how your office sounds like? Mine sounds too much like home. And I’m deathly afraid of getting on the phone many times because there is no place I can ‘send’ my kids to.

Recently, I received a comment on one of my sites, a gadgets for moms blog. He said, check out Thriving Office and I did. It’s a brilliant idea! So simple too. Thriving Office is a CD of typical office sounds. So if you’re on the phone, it kinda sounds like you have people working in the background.

On their site, they also say that people use it even when not on the phone. Apparently, some people find it helps them concentrate and feel like their at work.

I like the quietness of my office, especially since I’m in my 17th year in business. However, Thriving Office provides a terrific alternative for owners who prefer lively chatter as they answer the phone. I think it’s great.

It’s interesting to note the different work styles. I was surprised actually to read that people want this as a background noise. I personally cannot work with too much noise.
