GoDaddy and WordPress
If you’ve ever tried installing WordPress on GoDaddy or SecureServers, you know what I mean. Horrible. Though not always the case for everyone. Some have installed it relatively easy. But in my experience, installing scripts on SecureServers is a pain especially when MySQL database is concerned. There seems to be some kind of issue with the way the servers are setup when a script tries to check if MySQL is there before installation, it fails. Anyway, I got that problem licked for my friend Niki of cinnamoncreations.co.uk. It wasn’t as elusive as some other script but I know many people have spent hours on end trying to figure out the problem. Thanks to Niki, I’ve quickly created an update video to help Blogging Starter Pack students nick the issue in under 5 minutes.
