Technorati is a great place for research. The frontpage itself should be full of blogging ideas for you. So… guess what is on the top 3 searches? John G. Roberts. In fact, it is the first and third most searched word or I should say name today (and yesterday too).

What has John Roberts got to do with tech and marketing? Well… probably plenty or maybe nothing but what I’m trying to get at is, this: Hot news helps traffic. My brother’s blog started on the 2nd of April this year. By end of May, he had over 12,000 unique visitors.

I know some of you super traffic gurus may not find that impressive but look at it this way it’s not bad either for a non ‘guru’ and no other traffic generation method other than blogging plus $0 spent. Comments are plenty too on that blog so there’s real interaction going on.

So checkout top news – and what people are looking for and ride that wave. Now, if you really want to see what other people are saying about John Roberts, find it at Technorati.
