Data Loss. Technology or People To Blame?
This is an excellent example of a series of articles I’ve been writing lately. For all the technology a company spends on, the weakest link is usually human error. Hey we’re all humans after all right and that is unavoidable.
Lately, I’ve been trying to address a few issues. If you listen to my segment on WahmTalkRadio the coming week (show#86), I talk about how technology is only as good as you make it. It’s easy to blame the computer. People say they don’t want to use it because it’s so impersonal or it doesn’t work but guess what? It’s impersonal because you allow it to be impersonal. Messages and landing pages should be customized to allow that personal touch to come through.
