Want Your Own Private Twitter? Here’s How
Last week, at the Hot Seminar Series, I was sharing 20 different ways one can use WordPress. Amongst one of the things brought up was using the P2 theme as a Twitter-like communication tool for your own private group. Well, great minds think alike so I was very pleased to see a post on How-To Geek about creating your own micro group blog using… you guessed it. P2 and WordPress. They put in some excellent step by step help too by the way.
While I was contemplating over their post, a new idea came to me how to use P2 + WordPress on a project that I’ve long been a little unsure how to approach. I can’t elaborate on that yet since it is a project in the works. But wanted to share, it is amazing really. Just how much you can accomplish with this platform and even more interesting, how ideas build upon one another – I call that the daisy chain effect but we can talk about that in another post 🙂
