WOW! I just got an email from the folks at 12seconds.tv informing its users they are closing their doors.
Part of me is a little sad. No, I am not a regular user. As a matter of fact I think there’s only like 1 or 2 videos uploaded there. But sad because most of us don’t like seeing things go away. While I really didn’t use 12seconds.tv enough to say much about it. However, there is something to be said for a tech startup to rise so quickly and gain a large following. That is not easy to do at all in today’s crowded web space.
Anyhow, 12seconds says
As you probably know, everything has a life cycle. 12seconds is in its twilight. After all the new product launches and attempts at a revenue model, fundraising with VCs and late night coding sessions with Jacob hunched over his monitors – it’s time to call it. It is time to end 12seconds.
Here at Marketing Right, LLC we totally understand that. We’ve had to pull out of a few businesses ourselves. No matter how well (or badly) you’ve done, it is always hard. The good news is, there’s a lot learned that can never be regretted.
I wish the guys at 12seconds all the best in their future projects.
