To think carefully what you say. Er… in this case what you type. A few months ago, I wrote about the service, Reputation Defender. There was a very good discussion after that about their terms of service and the service in general.
Guess what? I stumbled upon a blogger who received a removal request from Reputation Defender on behalf of one of their customers. In the end it lead me to conclude a few things.
- Many bloggers or forum owners will just refuse your request.
- What seemed like a good idea isn’t because the letter sent on your behalf which in reality is a form letter, is too impersonal. A form letter doesn’t exactly make me feel empathic
- Think before posting 😀 and save a whole bunch of heart ache and money! This is even more important for business owners since our company reputation is on the line too.
