Open Source Video Webcasting

There is an open source video broadcasting software being developed that’ll allow anyone with little or no budget to produce and broadcast their own videos. Very cool – implications? Too early to tell how this type of thing will catch on but if it does maybe one day we won’t be selling informational DVD’s – we’d sell subscriptions to the videos or better yet paid live broadcast? Now that would be an idea – and we won’t have to worry about skipping DVDs
