Should You Build A Native App or Stick With HTML 5?

For most who read this blog, we are web-based. Depending how long you’ve been practicing marketing online, it is still largely website based.

With the fast adoption of mobile devices (tablets, cell phones), you may have been considering an app of your own. There are two ways to build for mobile audiences.

1. An app – you know, the stuff you get from the App Store and Google Play

2. An web based app – this is really a nice way to describe a web page or site that is fully optimized for mobile.

Coming from a strong web based presence, it might be awfully tempting to go just go with route #2. We understand it, it’s easy for us, we don’t have to learn a lot (or too many) new tricks, but it is your best option? Check out this presentation. While I think it is just a tad biased, they do raise some great points.
