It sorta looks like slideshows anyway. Did you you know you can encode your podcasts to include images that would show up on a video iPod or iTunes at a time of your choosing? So let’s say you are talking about Jim’s new book and as you mention the book an image of it pops on the listener’s screen. Pretty cool eh? You can also encode the images so that people can click on it. This is a great way to distribute those affiliate links on your podcasts. For the longest time that is my one biggest gripe about podcasts – other than buying a domain to redirect to your affiliate link or put it in your shownotes, you pretty much lose the chance to gain a sale on audios.

However, considering the number of people using iTunes and video podcasts over the general internet market it is still a rather small section of your target market. I haven’t done it before but if you’re interested here is a pretty long but good tutorial how to do it – not sure if it worth the time or not. What say you?
