I only pay $100 because I have two phones (AT&T Family plan, previously Cingular). Plus I have about 5,000 roll-over minutes collected. LOL

When my contract is up in Feb, however, I plan to move one of my phones over to Helio so I can get the Ocean. Helio has some kicka$$ plans available for less than what I pay now, but I’m fairly certain it’s not a world phone.

That said, I need to stick with my current AT&T service for when I travel overseas. I’m hoping the move will drop my bill down to about $70.

We are on a family plan (5 lines in one plan) – so our cell phone bill is quite high – it’s just difficult NOT to have cell phones when you have teens you need to keep up on.

Oh yea. I really do not like how they nickel and dime you. Which is why we’ve always used pre-paids. Our latest phone we bought 3 months ago is a pre-paid and we really, really love the walkie talkie mode!

But unfortunately, pre-paids do not often offer web or data. My current pre-paid does if I turn it on. But at the rate I’m using it, probably won’t be turning it on.

My monthly plan is something like $35, but you know with all the ‘little’ extra fees it comes to like $50. It’s crazy when I actually start USING my phone though… I HATE how they charge you one price and then if you actually want to use your phone during the day (god forbid) then you have to pay for all those extra minutes.

Anway, I’m starting to rant, I hate how cell phone companies rip you off for every minute you actually want to use the phone.
