Thank you Lynette... always appreciate your input. Cheers, Doug.
Hi Doug! I went with Dynatracker after reading a lot of different people's comments and trying out what I can try. For me the biggest thing is of course no monthly fee. This is one of those things I cannot justify a monthly fee unless a new service comes out to wow me. However I've heard Clickalyzer is a pretty good service.
I quit trying others once I got a hand on Dynatracker. Can't remember which but I think I did try Clicktracks but still ended up with Dynatracker because it fit my working style. Dynatracker's interface is not exactly the best looking and actually downright boring but that's not why I want it.
I think any good tracker will give you the information you want, you just need to be comfortable with it.
As for their pricing :-) I certainly understand that and can't speak for them however I bought it at $67 that was earlier this year. However when I first heard about it, they offered unlimited license. When I bought it, they limited installs to only one server and I see again their unlimited license is back. Guess my short answer is I dunno :-)
Lynette,
Thanks for your podcast about the Dynatracker link tracking service / software. It was timely for me because I'm at the early stages of my online business when I need to look at this technology.
Would you care to comment on what it is about Dynatracker that you like over the other programs out there? The ones that I've been referred to include ClickTracks, Offermatica, PhilHuffsSplitTestGenerator, QuickSales, Verster and WebTrends.
Also... is the "only-for-the-next-few-days" $67 Dynatracker pitch for real... or is this where it's been priced for a while? As you might have guessed, one of my online pet peeves is misleading call to action strategies. Not saying this is the case with Dynatracker... just asking.
Regards,
