VA's Upgrade Your Skills

A while back, I talked about RSS AutoDiscovery and gave simple instructions how to make your RSS feeds auto discovery enabled. Have you done it yet? If you haven’t, why not? You could have missed a chance to snag a few subscribers when Google rolled out the upated of the Google Firefox toolbar.

That’s because the new version allows people to subscribe to RSS feeds with just one click. And it relies on autodiscovery. So even if you have 10 tiny buttons inviting people to subscribe on the blog or web site itself, the toolbar won’t realize you have a feed available. So go ahead… enable autodiscovery on your blog and web site now.

  • How interesting Stephen, thanks!
  • Hi,

This end, we're also attempting to do some interesting things with RSS2.

Our website, http://www.rss2.co.uk, can convert multiple RSS and ATOM feeds into a single, consolidated PDF file without the need for expensive software, computer programming, or complicated RSS readers.

Furthermore, you can even add your own logos, URL, etc., so you end up with your own eMagazine, based upon all your favourite feeds!
