Marketing Technology
No more blogger's block

People ask me so often how do I track my blog stats? And my standard answer is – my server’s web logs :) The other alternative is to use a third party system like Statcounter.com which is not bad but they are all built for tracking regular web pages. Still, it’s better than nothing and will provide a good deal of information.

Now there’s another alternative built just for blogs – Performancing Metrics. You can track as many blogs as you want, you can even subscribe to your stat’s very own RSS feed, view comments made, comments by post, Adsense clicks and more. I just got it to track my blogs. Will probably have more to say in a few days time when the stats start to roll in. Meanwhile, you can signup for your Metrics account here.

And if you use WordPress, you can use the PMetrics plugin. I’m the developer and I find it very useful. It has enhanced page detection (archives/search/etc) and the 0.4 version’s going to come out soon.
