Generally, accross the globe, cell phones are more readily available and more affordable too. From the poorest nations to the richest ones. In fact, coming from Asia I can tell you cell phone use is so much wider and entrenched into the Asian life today. Cell phone technology is more ‘advanced’ in Asia too compared to the U.S. (can you tell I’m not a fan of U.S. telephony )
