Just in time for Thanksgiving! Thank you Jessica Colon who alerted me to this and a kind warrior forum member Shaun OReilly for posting this deal. You can get a copy of Camtasia version 3 for free. It is a promotion they are running together with a UK tech magazine. The best part is, if you want the latest version (5), you can upgrade a only half price. Heckuva deal my friends.

Read the comments on the thread too if you are in the US. Great tip how to avoid paying more after conversion.

Admittedly I didn’t even pay close to half price ;) but I sure didn’t get it free either when I started with version 3. It’s still an excellent piece of software. Old version or not.

    I downloaded the trial version a few months ago and loved it and then the free trial ran out and I never purchased the license. NOw thanks to you I have a full working version.

    As I use it to earn some money I will use that money to upgrade to version 5.

  • You're most welcome folks! I would be so jumping all over this if I hadn't got it already. If you can afford to upgrade to version 5 I think that is an awesome version that makes video sharing easier since you can create ipod ready copies of the video quickly. It also has a very cool player.
