If you use the new IE 7 or Firefox browsers, you’ll notice a small search box to the top right corner of your screen. Did you know you can customize the search engines there and that you can create your own plugins?

Why do this? So you can get a small share of your customer’s desktop and if you sell domains, have a directory (of any kind) or just have a huge content site, you can encourage people to use your site. Searching through the browser is so much faster because they skip the first step - visiting your site first.
