Republishable RSS Feeds

December 2nd, 2005

Ok everyone I need your help. Do you publish an RSS feed you want people to pick up and republish on their websites or blogs? Please post the feed URL in the comments and provide a short description about the feed so that people who want to republish it know what to expect.

If you’re not sure why you should do this. Consider these reasons. Allowing people to republish your feeds is no different than writing and giving away articles. Only better! Because the content is updated automatically the right after you publish it. You won’t be crossing your fingers for people to pick up the article because when, someone displays your feed, every post you make is published. Last but not least, people want them! So… let them have it.

Here’s a podcast I did too about why you should republish your RSS feeds.

P/S: Please note by posting your RSS feeds here, you agree to allow others to freely republish your feeds without compensation and without modification of content.

  17. Maurene Says:

By what process are you going to be republishing RSS feeds? I don’t understand how adding your Web site in a comments field leads to republishing.

    Thanks…

  18. Lynette Says:

    Hi Maurene,

Thanks for stopping by. This list is like a resource. Simply adding your link doesn’t guarantee your content will be republished. However, I’m always sending people to this page when they ask where to find feeds that they can put on their website.

So, by adding your feeds here, you’re in effect saying here is my feed link, if you like my content, feel free to put it on your website to whoever might come by.
