New Theme
May 11th, 2006I was tired of having an invisible blog. The type that looks like the other 10 million blogs out there. So, when Kristie T wrote about ‘Branding Your Blog“, it was like a kick in the butt. Now I have this fresh design that I can ‘own’ and leave a better impression on readers. How do you like it? Please do share your thoughts with me. This theme is also carried out through the other parts of the Tech Based Marketing web site.
If you are looking for a theme that isn’t used by everyone else, (and most free ones are) try Template Monster. They have a new section just for WordPress blogs.

Good going Lynette! I like seeing your smiling face up there

Thank you Kelly
I like that too Nola did a wonderful job. I’m a little uncertain whether to keep the background image though. Maybe it interferes with the text? Don’t know, don’t have a bit of a design bone in me so gotta get input. What do y’all think? Keep it? Lose it?

Keep it ! It’s watermarky enough not to distract and it’s only on the side anyway,

Love the new look Lynette. Just one thing. I found it a bit difficult reading the comments from the bottom up.

Thanks for that input Bina. I was experimenting that after someone asked how to make it go in reverse; even though I prefer the top down listing, just more natural IMHO.
And thanks Darina
it’s a keeper then.

Love the new look - clean, sharp and classy! And I agree with Darina and Bina - the watermark looks great and is not distracting (in IE 6), and I also prefer reading from the top down. Great job!

Thank you all for you input. I’ve changed the comments back to the original top down format.
