But thankfully, one product I am in the upline is awesome in the sense she doesn't push me that way. That's exactly why I am in some programs too. There are many awesome products that are sold through network marketing but the emphasis unfortunately is too much on the network part than the marketing part. @Melody, I wish more uplines were like you. I have been involved in some businesses where uplines would teach me to recruit but it is just not my thing. I love the product, I love promoting the product and of course a discount on it and some commission on it is GREAT but that's all - not really because I am into growing a team. Does that make sense? I see posts like this all the time on internet marketing forums bragging about how easy everything is. For me, math is easy...writing is hard. I'm sure for many, it's the opposite.
