Once in a while, I get notices of offers that come into my inbox. Most of the time ignore them unless it’s been something that’s on the wishlist. But today, I saw several things I thought I’d share some coupon codes and links with you in case you have these things on your wishlist too

It is funny how the smallest posts turn into a big and pretty serious conversation. Not long ago, I wrote a short post about RoboForm. It isn’t even that spectacular a post but it generated a lot of conversation because of the mere fact there are many more tools than RoboForm that does the same thing. As with a lot of software these days, they are becoming more and more web-based. That’s a good

Roboform

You all know how much I recommend password managers like Roboform and 1Password. It’s so natural for me I hardly think twice. Which was why I was quite surprised when my husband had a really hard time using it in the beginning. Then, a minute ago, I was at a forum where users were talking about how they gave up on it because they ‘couldn’t organize’ the passcards.

Turns out, they just didn’t

When was the last time you changed your logins? I know…

Each time I think about changing passwords I cringe. There are SO many of them! But you don’t have to change them all and having a password manager like Roboform or 1Password for Macs absolutely helps. It’s kinda crazy going without them. What you should consider changing – other than your personal bank accounts and stuff like that are:

SyncBack SE

Why would you ever want to sync two folders? Well, here are some scenarios.

I’d pay for RoboForm full price any day – actually, come to think of it, I did! I paid full price not once, not twice but at least 5 times that I can remember. At the time I thought, how nice if I could find a valid coupon. Of course I never did, so if you’re reading this and you’re thinking about it, just get it. 20% off  doesn’t come by too often but

I’ve been using RoboForm for many years now and you have probably read about it here often. It started because I needed a better of keeping up with my own log ins. But over time as I started taking clients who have their own set of log ins for multiple sites, it became indispensable.

Besides storing and securing my log ins, I also like RoboForm because I can organize it. I am at

Yesterday, I emailed those on my newsletter and told them about Sandboxie. Why it’s so very important to use it in today’s environment. Just before sending, I received an email about the very same topic. But the email highlighted something that was so important I felt I must bring your attention to this. It is serious.

Ya know things happen with these darn computers. It crashes, you forgot to save your password, you lost it or it just quit out of the blue.

Now you can’t access your WordPress blog. When something like this happens for me, it’s easy. Simply edit the database. Understandably, this can be very intimidating for some. Database? What if I break the whole blog or *gulp* delete everything?

In any brick and mortar business, it is expected the company has all the equipment and software for their staff to work. For many of us in online businesses, we may not always have a real office and most of our ‘staff’ are really freelancers who are expected to have their own tools and software.
